A smokey bronze eye is a great look for the fall season. The key is to choose the right balance of color.
1. Start with an eye primer, or you can use a small amount of your foundation as primer. This helps your shadow remain in place, and helps avoid creasing.
2. Choose a bronze color that best compliments your eyes. Copper is best for blue eyes, bronze with more brown is best for green eyes. Brown eyes go great with any bronze.
3. Use a sheer bronze as an over all color for your entire lid extending up to your eyebrow. This is perfect because you wont need a separate brow highlighter. MAC bare study paint pot is great for this.
4. The color used in the crease should not be too shimmery. Use a taupe or brown based bronze for a natural look. Urban decay smog, or MAC bronze is great for this effect. Make sure to blend very well.
5. Using a great bronze liner is a great touch to this, a deep bronze liner should be applied with a heavy had on the upper lash. You can then apply the same liner lightly to the bottom, or the crease shadow to the bottom line. A bronze kohl liner is also great for this.
6. Dark brown mascara is better than black mascara, it brings the look together without being too noticeable.
7. A nice subtle blush with a hint of gold will look good with this look.
8. Keep your lips muted and neutral, to emphasize the eyes. It can be a bit brighter but not too much to add a pop of color. Don't go too bold on both lips and eyes, play up one feature and tone down the other.

MAC & Marcel Wanders Team Up for November

MAC & Marcel Wanders Team Up for November
Come November 24th, Marcel Wanders–industrial designer extraordinaire–will team up with MAC Cosmetics in their annual couture/luxe collection. In case you’re unfamiliar, this luxe launch anniversarizes such collections asStylistics, Monogram, and Baroque Boudoir.
These luxe collections are always priced significantly higher than your typical MAC collectio (e.g. $22 for a lipgloss) — I don’t have many details on products or pricing here, but if the theme/preliminary image grabs you, just beware that you’ll need to set aside a lil’ more than usual. The compact looks to be the Sheer Mystery Powder, which they launch in every luxe collection. There is also Air of Style concentrated perfume, a specially packaged brush (looks like the 187), clutch, and four lipsticks and lipglosses to round it out.

SUMMER LIP GLOSS SELECTIONS
With so many brands out there, you can find your perfect color from multiple lines. I always suggest getting a lipgloss and lipstick, some of you may feel that lipstick is for your grandmother but grandma sometimes knows best. Lipstick last longer than gloss that you have to continuously re-apply. I always add a little gloss to my lipstick for added shine. Below you will find some brands that I like, for my budget friendly beautinistas like myself you will not go wrong with Loreal www.lorealparisusa.com!!!
