HAIR ITEMS I CANT LIVE WITHOUT.....

1. Leave -In Conditioner: I absolutely love Carol's Daughter Tui Leave In, its a great detangler and restores the natural moisture to your hair. www.carolsdaughter.com

2. Serum : There are many brands out there, but I always recommend Garnier Fructis Sleek Shine Serum. It is great for shine and stops frizz. I suggest using after you have conditioned prior to drying your hair. www.garnier.com

3. Mizani Iron Guard: This is my newest fav product. Its a new Mizani product, great for natural and relaxed hair.  Best way to use is after yoiu have blow dryed your hair, part in 4-5 sections from crown to bottom, take a small amount of product (judge by length and thickness of hair) run the product through your hair then flat iron. This product will keep your hair mositurized and help hold your style. www.mizani-usa.com

4. Hair Spray: Sebastian stays on my list every year. They have a new Humidity Resistant Strong Hold Hair Spray. It is great, gives great hold, touchable feel, and easy brushability. It enables you to change your style as many times as possible. This is a must have!! www.sebastianprofessional.com

LOOK AT WHAT A LITTLE STEAM CAN DO....

Check out these pics, from using a Hair Steamer. A steam treatment is used to enhance the mositure in your hair. Its great for natural hair but good for relaxers too. If your stylist doesnt use a steamer, then you need to find one that does. If in Atlanta, Keka's Hair Boutique in Midtown, Atlanta does....

HAIR PRODUCTS FOR SENSATIVE SKIN....

Does your skin immediately sting or turn red when you apply makeup or skin care products? If yes, then you have sensitive skin. In many cases,  the ingredients *sulfates and *parabens are the reasons why your skin reacts so negatively. Is it too much to ask for a beauty product that won’t cause you unbearable discomfort when applied? For a time it was, but some well-known and some not so well-known cosmetics companies rose to the challenge and created products that women with sensitive skin can use without even thinking twice because they’re made without the chemicals that have been proven to cause irritation.
The concept of natural isn’t just reserved for skin care products, it penetrates the hair care market as well. The impetus for the creation of Hugo Naturals was to create a line of beauty products that contained all-natural ingredients. All the while still achieving the same effect of mainstream hair gels and still chemical-free, the most notable characteristic to HKI about Hugo Naturals Styling Gel ($5.99, hugonaturals.com) is that it contains no alcohol and retains moisture unlike some other hair gels that leave your hair feeling dry. Works on all hair types.

HOUSEHOLD BEAUTY TIPS PT . 4

More Tips....

1. Extension Glue - we all love extensions, however some times it can get a little sticky! Use olive oil to remove excess bonding glue. Use a few drops of olive oil over tracks let it sit for 15 - 20 minutes, when you rinse glue will be gone. Use a good clarifying shampoo to remove oil.

2. Fight Hair Frizz -
- Expired sunscreen can be reincarnated as a grooming cream.  Use a pea size on fingertips and smooth around hairline to tame fly aways .

- If you wet a bar of soap, you can use it to sculpt and style, it will give a matte finish.

- Lip balm can also be used as a hair wax to add definition to your stle and get rid of hair line frizz.

** Ladies these tips were great, I tried a few of them myself. This is a good way of making your life eco friendly****
