SUMMER MAKEUP TIPS

Ladies, here are a few great tips to stop your foundation from running, sliding eyeliner, and super sticky lipstick.  Heat & humidity are huge challenges for makeup wearers during the summer months.

1. PRIMER - this is essential to keep your makeup from melting. Its applied after your moisturizer. My favorite one is Clarins www.clarins.com, Smashbox www.smashbox.com and Loreal www.loreal.com

2. LIGHTEN UP - Go lighter on your foundation. Put away that heavy cream foundation and lighten up on how much liquid that you use. Sway to a tinted moisturizer  or light liquid foundation. If you want a little more coverage after applying liquid or tinted moisturizer go over face with powder foundation.

3. BRONZER BRONZE BRONZER -  This is a great item to keep close to you at all time.  For some you may not need any moisturizer just purchase a good bronzer. Make sure you place the bronzer on the areas where the sun hits: forehead, cheekbones, chin and nose also do not forget to get your neck.

much shimmer. 

MY NEW FAVORITE PRODUCT

Hello Ladies,
I have a new product for you!!! I saw that Loreal came out with a new primer. So, I said let me try it and see if it really works, well i used it on Monday in Atlanta which was about 85-90 degrees. Ladies, I only had to powder my makeup once, and my skin is kinda oily!!! Just to compare it to the most popular primer I know, Smash box, I used Smashbox on Tuesday it was good. However the Loreal is very comparable and for a lower rate. Smashbox is $38. So ladies my choice for beautinista on a budget is Loreal, it costs between $10-$13, you can't beat that!!!

Just to give you some background information, primer is put on your entire face prior to foundation or concealer application. After your moisturize, you apply the primer and let it set then go on with your normal foundation application. The primers main function is to allow your makeup to stay on longer, it also aids in preventing your skin from becoming oily or shiny.  It also minimizes wrinkles and fine lines. Its essential to have in your makeup kit. !!
