HOW TO GET YOUR HAIR STRAIGHT

Here are some steps to get your hair straight. These steps can be used for all types of hair, all ethnicities, races and lengths. Look for the next post for African American women without relaxers who want to that straight sleek hair.

Step 1:  Shampoo hair with straightening system shampoo and conditioner.
Step 2:  Towel dry hair
Step 3:  Apply leave in conditioner to the hair
Step 4:  Apply a small amount of serum to towel dried hair
Step 5.  Sit under hooded dryer to get excess water out of the hair
Step 6:   Begin to blow dry hair section by section. In order to get more volume dry hair in the opposite direction. Use a flat paddle brush and a blow dryer with a nozzle so that you can get close to your roots.
Step 7: When all hair is dried, use a flat-iron on bigger sections of hair (about 1 inch) Begin on the inner sections (under) and finish with the outer sections. The trick is to pull the iron flat from the roots to the ends of each section. (Trick if you can put a medium to fine tooth comb after the flat iron and glide them down at the same time. The comb is assisting in detangling the hair.)

Step 8: After hair is straight, wrap hair in a circular motion around head(like beehive but flatter) put on a plastic cap and sit under hooded dryer for 4-5 minutes. This step is not necessary but will assist in getting rid of fly away hairs and smoothing out the hair. This step is a must for women with thick or coarse hair
